Frequently asked questions

Including the ones with uncomfortable answers.

The product

What is LogosVox?

One workspace for the things you make with AI. You say what you want, and your Logos, the assistant that works for you, makes it: an app, a game, a picture or a page. Chat, Create, Spaces, Databases and your Desktop sit in one place, not in separate tools you copy between.

In practice: ask in Chat or Create, find the result in Your creations, change it by asking again or in the code, then open it on your Desktop or publish it to an address you can send to someone.

What works today?

Chat and Create. Spaces for notes and pages, with an import from Notion. Databases. A place to build apps and watch their files appear while they are made. A Desktop in the browser that becomes a home screen on your phone, with games and learning apps to start with.

Models run in our cloud, on your own PC with LogosVox Companion, or right in your browser. Voices can read aloud in the browser too.

Who is it for?

People who want a working thing more than a codebase: a form, a quiz, a booking page, a small game, a prototype to show someone tomorrow. You do not need to read the code it writes, but it is there if you want to.

What is not built yet?

Your own domain, and apps that run on a server, both come with LogosVox hosting, which is not open yet. Payments are not open either, so nothing can be charged. Sign-up is by invitation for now.

When one of these opens, this answer changes the same day.

Accounts and your work

Do I need an account?

Yes. Sign-up is by invitation for now: join the waitlist, reserve your @handle, and we email you when your place is ready. One account works across every part of LogosVox.

Where is my work kept?

In your account. Chats, apps, pages and databases sync to it, so the same work is there on your other devices. The copy you are working on is also kept in your browser, which is why the workspace keeps going when the connection drops.

If you want a copy you hold yourself, My PC can keep your apps, databases and media in a folder on your own computer.

What happens if I edit the same app in two places?

The most recent edit wins, judged by the clock of the device that made it. That is the right rule for one person moving between their own laptop and phone. It is the wrong rule for two people editing at once, which is why working together is a separate feature and not a setting.

Can I delete my account?

Yes, in Settings, under Account. It removes the account, everything kept in it and everything it published, and frees your @handle. You can download your data first if you want a copy.

Models, credits and plans

Which models can I use?

You do not have to pick one. LogosVox AI chooses the right model for each request: you choose a speed (Auto, Fast or Smart) and it does the rest, and a request that needs a capability only goes to a model that has it.

If you want to choose yourself, Settings → Advanced lets you bring your own keys and pick the model. Models can also run on My PC, with LogosVox Companion or Ollama, or right in this browser, and then what you write stays on your device.

Can I use my own API key?

Yes, and it costs no credits. Your key passes through the browser exactly once, when you type it; on the server it is encrypted and kept in a cookie no page script can read, and model requests do not carry it in the body.

What is a credit?

A unit of model usage, pooled across every model, so you do not have to think about which one answered. How many each plan includes is on the pricing page. Models that run on your own computer or in your browser use no credits.

Is there a free plan, and when do I pay?

Yes. The Free plan costs nothing and includes monthly credits, storage, apps and a database. Plus, Pro and Team add more, priced in euros or, in Turkey, Turkish lira, monthly or yearly.

Payments are not open yet, so nothing is charged. We will tell you before anything is.

Publishing

Where does a published app run?

On its own address, on a separate domain from the platform: lvox.app. That is deliberate and it is the decision the whole security model rests on: your app runs somewhere the platform's session cookie never travels, so nothing it does can reach your account.

Is everything I publish public?

No. An app is private until you make it public, and making it private again takes effect on the next request. No copying, no waiting, nothing to undo.

Can I use my own domain?

Not yet. Your own domain comes with LogosVox hosting, together with apps that run on a server. Until then a published app runs at its lvox.app address. This answer changes the day you can connect a domain.
